I certainly hear ya. I have seen other people say the same thing and other 6 speeds sell for under 1k, it's just one of those market valuations I don't understand. There aren't many cars, of any make and model that you can get a tranny for 600 bucks so it's just hard for me to believe a 6 speed manual transmission for basically a race car would value so low. Maybe as more time goes by they will jump back up to a reasonable price. I don't think I could bring myself to sell a perfectly good 6 speed tranny for 600 bucks. At that price point its almost worth just keeping around.

of course I guess all this is good news for me in case I needed to find a replacement for my MR but on the flip side its hard to justify selling it as a means of offsetting an upgrade.

Everyone (including OP) wants 5spds. Very few of us prefer the 6spd.

I actually love my 6 speed. But I swapped over because I didn't want to ruin a perfectly good transmission with to much tq. I was planning to keep six speed and swap back when I send the 5 speed for a refresh but that's just to much work
