This is based off the IX valve but has been modified to their specs and is supposed to hold over 30PSI. I cant get it to hold over 27PSI without it cracking open. Does the crank need cut or just polished?

^Great question. Let me clarify since I may have used the wrong words. I havent mic'd it to compare to the other journals yet. The rod bearing on #4 had excessive play and while it didnt completely spin its done and you can see the heat discoloration. There are no deep gouges so I'd think a polish would suffice but I'll leave that decision to the machine shops of the world.
