Slowboy Racing

This is a warning to anybody that might be considering purchasing parts from them.

Parts were supposed to be shipped last Tuesday. Said a tracking no. would be sent last Wed. This Tues rolls around, still no tracking No. Had to drive 2 hrs to their shop today to see what the hell is going on. The box is sitting there, no shipping tag. Just a lonely box. When they were asked what the problem was they pretty much had no excuse besides that they are totally inept at doing their job. They couldn't even cut me a break for having to drive 4 hrs (round trip) to pick the parts up that were supposed to be shipped last week.
I did get a good laugh when they were selling the same exact intercooler that you see on e-bay for $150 for $600. I mean, they even had the same cheap blue rubber caps that they use to cover the inlet and outlets, same crappy bubble gum welds on the tanks and bungs.
Mike Huml or however you spell your name, you need to get better control of your lame *** company cause your service as well as your employees suck *****!
Something tells me that you are well aware of how your company is run because I can't tell you how many people complain about your sh*ty service.
You just lost another customer for life. Oh, and I do plan on spreading the word to as many people as I can.

I feel your pain bro. I still don't know how they are still in business. No wonder they got the Company call Slowboy Racing. There so slow in customer service. I pm Sbr from here once and never got answer from them ever. I was reading on the forum you would see them reply to people and trying to back their company up sayin their sorry and bs stuff. But they can't simply answer my question by just pm me back. I had to ask AMS and ETS to answer my question. I would never deal with them ever and my bro bought a build motor from them and took six month just to ship it him and when they say it would take only three month.

Sorry to hear that man. I would probably buy from someone who has a good reputation. Good thing you got your parts though.

Also this post in my "for sale" thread was not needed

"He ordered at 10:28 on Monday 4/14, Monday orders only get ran off once since there are so many of them usually they get ran off once I come in, and again at 2pm

He emailed and called in saying he ordered the wrong bearings and needed standard instead of .25mm over, and then wanted SI nitrided valves instead of the Headgasket. I got a stock check on all these and the calico bearings weren’t in stock so we had to switch to ACL race series. He said he wanted to come and pick this all up and would pay for the difference when he came. He called back later around 4pm saying nobody would come with him to get the parts and gave me his cc info to run for the difference. He asked if the parts would go out today and I said being after 4pm UPS probably already picked it, he said this is fine cause its only probably 2 days to get to him."

That is a Direct quote from Jessica (she handles our web orders)

One of the salesman took time out of their day to drive to our shipping department because you called and said you were picking parts up. The reason there was no label on the box is because he put them in a box to bring them up here before they were packed for shipping yesterday(no sense printing a label for a pick up order.) I can post the invoice up if needed. As far as I am concerned your un-warranted slandering holds no water.

So you said you ordered last Tuesday (which you didnt you ordered this Tuesday) -

your complaining about picking it up (which you offered to do?) and it was ready in 48 hours from when you ordered

you want a shipping tag for a box that isnt shipping (am I missing something here or does this make no sense) - why would you want a shipping tag on it?

SO basically your entire post was a lie? Why even spend the time of the day?

Here is the "word you need to spread to all your friends"

SBR Sucks - I ordered on the web, offered to pick up the parts, they were ready in 2 days. A salesman took the time out of his day to pick them up. And they gave it to me in a box with no shipping tag on it.

Ya Slowboy is terrible - last time I checked you saw Huml kicking babies too right?

I highly doubt that, i bought an engine with custom pistons (4 week lead time on the pistons alone) and saw it at my door in about 6 weeks...if im not mistaken, they DO tell you 4-5 week lead time...highly doubt they told your BRO 3 months..that seems like a load of horse radish to me....but what do i know....maybe i should start buying things and 2 days later drive up there and have the employee go get it for me...and say f-you you guys suck and ***** up the forums because im a chronic bull ****ter....please...maybe you should write for a local newspaper, they always fabricate stories.

I find that many folks who make very rude comments in such posts to be full of it. SBR comes in, says they wish to get more info and then kick said venom poster in the head.

SBR also supports rally so I'm biased.
