Will a clutch designed for a 5 speed from the Evo 8 work on my evo 4?
because what i have discovered is that clutches for my evo 4 are rather hard to find and the ones that i do find can't hold the power i want. My goal is around 700 Bhp, but i don't want to break the bank to get a clutch that is over 1500$. Any options or suggestions?

 

They are different. If you get an 8 flywheel you can then use an 8 clutch.

 

any twin or twin triple plate clutch designed for a evo8 5 speed will bolt on to ur evo4.if u want to use a single plate clutch ull need a evo 8 5 speed flywheel also.stock or aftermarket is your choice.btw nice 4 i got one too.pm me if u need to ask something else.

 

Good point about the multi-plates as they already come with a flywheel.
