Atif's 608whp 6262 S1 Street Evo

Atif has been a customer for awhile and now employee at EnglishRacing. In addition to his 1144whp race car he has a fairly sedate IX MR on the factory 6 speed. He wanted to add some power so in went a set of S1s from GSC. He didnt mind pushing it as his back up motor was ready to go. Amazingly both the stock motor and stock 6 speed are holding up. This is not something I normally recommend for stock bottom end cars. The old 400 ft lb rule I devised years ago allows for more at high rpm so this was one reason we went for it.

Mods -

Used FatFab 6262 kit, 0.82 T3
Fuel Injector Clinic 1100cc HiZ injectors
GSC Power Division S1 camshafts
GSC valvespring kit
ER SD tune
ER EGR delete
ETS 3.5" FMIC
Tanabe Medallion exhaust
Cronin Motorsports double pumper fuel pump kit

Tunes were done on 92 octane and E60 to keep enough room with the 1100cc injectors.

Atif decided to push it to the limit (or at least what I felt comfortable with) on the stock motor. This power in a full weight 6 speed MR IX ran a 10.8@131.

Looks fun. So you feel ~440 ft-lbs is the limit on stock motor and possibly the 6-speed?

670whp but traps only 131mph? That must be a really heavy IX MR 6 speed. I trap 127mph making 457whp on mustang. Even with dynojet correction of 15% it's around 520whp and my car weighs 3400lbs with me inside

100% full weight with a 100% full tank of gas and a spare wheel in the back. The 10.8 was archived at 635-640hp range since boost was around 35psi on that run. I weigh 215lbs and yes I have to shift into 5th

That's basically my exact setup, full weight and full size BBS spare. Makes me want to get the car retuned for more power. Impressive numbers guys!
