How to redo carbon fiber on spoiler?

make sure to use a 2 part clear it last longer. Do not use the cheapy hardware store clear because if you do it may fade or turn yellow and your back where you started.

I have re cleared my bikes exhaust with the hi-temp clear coat in spray cans. Just sand it down with 600 grit until all the shine is gone and then light coats. Came out looking brand new.

I had a rattle can of touch up paint for my car and decided the wing would look as good red as it does grey. Maybe I have no taste but it looks great to me.

I actually found on accident that using the right spectrum uv light..like the kind from reptile cages.....can help pull up the old clear from the carbon fiber so not much sanding is required

After reading of people sanding for days I decided this wasn't for me. The rattle can I used wasn't something from Auto Zone. I had it specifically made up from good quality automotive paint at a automotive refinishing store. I didn't paint the underside but instead masked off from under and slightly behind the leading edge. Anyway, the total job took about two hours. Note, my red car is not factory clearcoated.
