EVO 7 In Japan

Hey Guys new to the Forum.

I live in Tokyo stationed with my wife at Atsugi Base here. We are both civilians for the DOD.

I own a really nice EVO 7 and I have been very happy modifying but since its a 7 finding parts have been difficult.

I know it sounds funny but if any one can point me in the right direction for Evo 7 parts that would be great. Even though I am learning Japanese the language barrier here makes finding a local shop almost impossible.

I am down to buy from american because technically i get things shipped here on base still as american soil through the military. I know they did not sell EVO 7s in the USA but I was hoping that there are places that sell parts.

I am also cool with any body knowing any online shops that might be straight from Japan.

Appreciate the suggestions guys!!

Evo Vii's are found all over the place in Australia, and cheap... We pay as little as $12k AUD for GTA's, so if shipping is not a problem, look up Evolutution Racing Spares on Facebook. They are a wrecking company that specialise in Evos based in Sydney.

BUT, man you live in the holy land for JDM. Go to some auctions, get a feel for who/where parts are and go from there?

you got home court advantage that most of us dream of... do some searching there. Everything we get here goes through some form of distributor in the US, so just look up specialty shops that sell aftermarket parts in Japan like Rays wheels. I am sure they can point you in the right direction.

and do please post some pics of your 7. Nothing better than to gaze on an Evo that is unmolested by the USDM nonsense we got and one that was never even released here.

Thanks for all the love and advice. I will check out "Upgarage and Rays wheels"
I bought her from an auction a year ago and have been doing a lot of engine mods but i am looking to wrap some interior pieces or possible paint. I am considering carbon inside as well.

I will post some pics of her sure

Very nice! Evo 9 rear bar is always a great upgrade over the OEM VII IMO

What Evo 7 parts do you need?

Body parts are interchangeable with 8 and 9. Its all the same chassis: CT9A.

Most Evo 8 engine parts are interchangeable. Suspension parts are all interchangeable throughout 7-9.

Seems like a good mod list, and already has some nice Advan wheels. Why do you want to modify it? I'd just enjoy the hell out of it. I'd just make sure it has the stickiest tire possible, do some suspension setup, and go nuts. That stock clutch would worry me a bit, though.
