Just bought a Evo 8. New to the Evo community

I bought a Evo 8. Price was 10k with a 120k miles. From a dealer. The car is all stock. I just need help to know what should I look for or what should be replaced by 120k miles on a Evo? Car drives great, its really quiet, no modifications that ive seen not even a turbo gauge. Just not the original black/blue recaro seats these are all black leather recaro seats. Clutch has been replaced with a new one.

Welcome. Congrats on getting an Evo. Do you know much about the service history? I would imagine belts and fluids may be due.

There are so many choices. If you want something really loud, Titanium systems offer that but are expensive

Take a look at what I run. Invidia N2 stainless exhaust. Very good quality w/casted flanges & fits perfectly in the USDM bumper cover (not one of those angled mufflers) It has a mid resonator pipe to keep the noise level reasonable, but its loud enough (activates car alarms cruising at 3K RPM)

Here it is (you will need the down pipe as well)

No need for an exhaust manifold yet. If youre going to do an exhaust, do a full exhaust with a down pipe. A true EvO exhaust header kinda requires the full deal (bigger turbo & all the supporting mods)

You need this downpipe coupled w/that kit I linked above

i would take the mods slow so you dont buy un-needed things. check the sticky under general for a mod list $100 at a time. helped me tons when i first got my car, and they are all spot on.
