hey guys , so I'm torn between getting a varis diffuser and keeping my 8 rear , or getting a 9 rear and just getting the standard genuine mitsu diffuser with it (due to money reasons I don't think I'm willing to get 9 rear as well as a varis diffuser) I have attached a couple of photos showing my rear at the moment so I can get some thoughts.

is that an 8 rear bar or 9?

Im not the bumper cover expert, but I believe that JDM rear fits both 8 & 9. Also, there is no diffuser, its all built into the cover

Not sure if I follow what youre questioning, but maybe a pic of the cover will help?

 

Id go with the JDM rear (fits 8 and 9) and change up your exhaust, not sure itd look good with jdm rear

and I think your right about the exhaust, wouldn't mind something a little louder anyway

 

well yeah evo 9 rear, here in US our evo 9s came with this rear end.



This, is whats called the JDM rear bumper

 

Everyone got the "jdm" rear on the viii and ix except fo the US, I believe.
