Heres my poor mans solution. 2 arrows, 1 @ 40ish & the other at 70.

I really should put one at 100, as I hit that mark quite frequently
Like an old weighing scale lmao!

That's pretty great.

Your photograph displays the problem so well. The yellow arrows stand out sharp while the numbers on the speedo make my head hurt.

How do you guys not notice just the general area of the speedometer? I've never had an issue being able to tell about how fast i'm going just at a quick glance lol

Mitsubishi engineered the car to have instrument lights on under the noon day sun. Why, other than the dash is hard to see?

been awhile since I've been on here.
Unfortunately no. Not at the moment.

I will assure everyone that I will be finishing the swap though.

Unfortunately when we finished my engine rebuild we overtensioned my timing belt, - it ended up snapping along with my balance shaft belt and wiping out my head.

on a better note though.
I've already sent the head off, its back and on my car now and it's running great with new Gates timing components.

Should be bringing my evo home by this friday, and hopefully I can get started on the cluster swap again in a couple weeks.

i've since located a company that will make me laser cut panels for perfect fitment with the cluster.

Hopefully I'll have some real progress done sometime next month. 🤙

SUPER hyped to get this car back after nearly a year of downtime.

I was hoping there was an ending to this...

On another note, your Evo is beautiful. What are the specs on the wheels/tires if you don't mind?

In for seeing how this turns out, I'd be really interested in doing something similar to this in the future.

Well.

after almost a year I finally got my car back up and running.

been putting miles on the engine the past few days and that's going great.
racecar yo, jk waiting on new hood.

So look. Today I pulled out all my old wiring harnesses again.
Kinda forgot half this ****, but I made notes all along the way beforehand and it shouldn't be too much effort to catch myself up.

super stoked to get this finished and have some type of working cluster to show soon.
