Couple questions... ETS 6466 kit install

So just a couple quick questions. Getting everything mounted no problem. Just wondering. The water lines that previously ran to the stock turbo.. can I just loop them?

Also, I have a Grimmspeed 3 port bc. 1 line to turbo, other line into a T then to each wastegate?

Just wanted to confirm before proceeding

Thanks

some on the forum will say its better to block them off. this is probably true.
mine are looped... no issues.

you can set up the grimmspeeds differnt ways.
turbo smart has some good examples.
i let my tuner tell me how to do mine.

Looping lines won't hurt anything.

As for the boost controller, grimmspeed has install instructions on their website, one to the gates, one to the compressor housing or intake manifold, and the last vta or plumbed into your intake. T the wastegate line to go to both gates. Also be sure you have the right lines on each port, it's very important. Switch two ports around and you could end up holding the wastegate closed and boom.

Also, that rad hose looks scary close to your #4 runner. Might want to alter the hose route or insulate it better.

Yeah. I'm debating getting a diff radiator that moves the upper hose location or getting the ets hard rad pipe.

Yep, loop the coolant lines.

I run top open with 1 ran to the side port and all the others blocked off. T 1 vacuum hose from the EBCS to the gates. 1 port on the EBCS goes to a boost source (should be a nipple on the compressor cover) and leave the 3rd port open.

We have the rad pipes on the shelf ready to ship.

Also, in the pic your oil feed to the turbo isn't hooked up. That is hooked up now, right?

Thanks Michael. Yeah I was just test fitting everything. My wastegates weren't shipped so waiting on those and then I can get everything put together for good

i tried both, plugging and looping. When i had them plugged, i had a mis-shift and it blew the plug right off and poured out coolant. With the loop i have had zero issues. There is nothing wrong with looping it.
