I have a Ortiz Single pod over the steering wheel to me it fits perfectly and looks very decent.

Idk man, personally if I were to do it again i'd stay away from ortiz. I've already waited almost 2 months so I decided to wait it out. Like other people said, our options are limited. I've had a few problems with them so far. 1. I placed the order and decided to change it so I sent them email right away. Both parts were the same price so I didn't see an issue as to why they couldn't change it. A week later I get a reply and he said they are unable to change it because they already have the part being made. I would understand if I sent the email a week after but I sent the email directly after and they were the ones who didn't reply to my email. In the end, they decided to change my order after a lot of going back and forth on it. Mainly because I threatened to cancel my order if they didn't give me what I want. 2. They suck at replying to emails, I'd send a formal message asking about my part and the approximate wait time and would get a reply such as, "working on it!" which tells me absolutely nothing about when I will be getting my part. Rant over, already waited this long I might as well wait it out.

I had almost the same experience as well. I was waiting for 2 months and they hardly respond to my emails too. In the end I opened up a dispute case with PayPal requesting a refund and with in less than a week I had the gauge pod in the mail. They are very shady.

I was quoted 3-4 weeks, waited 3 months. The finish is rough as hell, the pods themselves aren't level and one is aimed crooked. The cable routing holes are rough and jagged. On top of all of this their customer service was junk, your update emails are mass emails where you can see the contact information of everyone else that has an order.

I'm on my second cluster from ortiz, first one was broken by a local dealership & I'm waiting for the replacement to be shipped out. I can't vouch for the long wait times like everyone has talked about. My first cluster took about 2 weeks from payment to shipment. I have pictures on my IG page @dat_epg_evox

Good Morning,

Send me an email sales@ortizcustompods.com so we can make sure we are on top of it. I want to make sure we keep running smooth and pushing all orders out. Please feel free to reach out to us directly, and not through the company you placed the order with. We are more than happy to help you!

Thank You,
Ortiz Custom Pods

Hey everyone. I just picked up the dual instrument panel pod for the Evo X. Are these prone to cracking upon installation? I've seen a few youtube reviews of guys cracking their from just the tiniest bit of flexing. Has me concerned as its such a nice looking piece. Not sure if I want to try tackling the install myself.

Mine cracked slightly by the left pod on install. Not enough for me to replace it. Just need to clean it up to look clean again.

Mine cracked on the right pod towards the inside. I sent it back once as it actually came delivered that way and Ortiz was able to take care of the issue. When I installed the new one, it ended up cracking around the same area as the first one. I ended up going a different route for mounting my gauges and just have that one sitting around. There doesn't seem like there is a lot of material for the pods to be mounted to so be very careful.
