Is this a evo 8 5 speed gear box? Pics inside!

I want to replace my evo 8, 6 speed gear box to a 5 speed.

Can you please look at the pics attached and tell me if this is a 5 speed gearbox and linkeage from an evo 8

tranny is. that is a 5 speed.
im not sure about the linkage

Evo 8 five speed transmission




That transmission has a few parts missing and looks like it maybe came out of a flood car.

wow! thats a clean transmission, brand new i presume.

i dont know about water damage, the mechanic checked it and said it was fine, maybe a bit rusty?

can you point me which missing parts you are referring to?

Yeah, that's how they come from Mitsubishi. It had all the little clippies for the wiring and even a new slave cylinder.

It doesn't look rusty to me, it looks dirty. And when I saw the same color inside the bell housing it made me think it had been submerged in muddy water.

I see some rubber parts missing: TO arm boot, plug in the bottom, vent raspberry. Also, I don't see the shift cable bracket although it may be on the other end of the shift cables and not pictured. The backup switch is smashed. Also there is at least one bracket for wiring I don't see. I can't really tell if the mechanism that moves the shiftier mechanism in and out is there. There's a plastic piece that is part of that thing that I'm told is not available as a part.
