I went but didn't race my MR... It was good, some of the off the road people couldn't race due to the rain starting. Which sucked cuase a bad@ss RX-7 showedu p and did one run and had to finish tweaking some things, he missed 2nd and had to respool the Giant single turbo and still ran a 12.4

A dude in a white Evo has illinois plates, one of the people said he is best friends with AMS. He was running there Turbokit, EMS, and a few other things. Roll Cage and running 118 octane, he didn't get any good runs though, he had trouble putting it in gear. He ran like a 12.6 I believe at like 94mph though so you can tell where he messed up and then shut down. He was definetly set up to be in the 10's. Fastest evo was a gray mr from F1Dyno tuning in ME. Their best I believe was a 11.7 I never got to see what was done to it though. Few other evo's floated in the 12's and low 13. No fast Sti's or WRX's. Best was I believe like a 12.9 from a wrx. The STi's all ran high 13's to like 14.1's

Leon Rietman ran his Green Machine 1st gen talon, first run did a 10.2 with almost no launch and shifted slow so he was def. gonna hit 9's but then he went to run and after first gear something made a loud bang but they never said what happened. I would think it could have been his 4-2 conversion drivetrain.

Other than that it was a pretty decent day, a pair of civic hatchbacks were running mid 11's all day, but no big outcome for Supras and RX's this time. I think it was the weather.

I have some footage from my Camcorder and video from my Camera but no where to host.

Correction,he was the fastest Evo,although he was having his share of problem runs, pulled in off the street, pulled out as much pump gas as possible, put in 5 gal's of race gas(after 135 miles drive there) and qualified #1 in the Street Shoot Out heads up class with a 11.42 @ 125 and change.Went to the finals in that class after chasing Gremlins all day and Runnered up with an 11.8 @ 125 after missing 2nd gear and having troubles getting into 4th(suspected clutch problems). The run that you must of saw was the 1st round bye run (for qualifing #1) and lower intercooler hose popped off intercooler(faulty hose clamp) so it was coasted to that lame run. After the finals,it began to rain so Vehicle was driven, not trailored back home.It will be back and next time at track hopefully all the gremlins,or at least most of them will be gone

that was me at NED this weekend, was there with turbodan and some friends. It was nice to meet you Nesiop. I lost in the final round, placed 2nd, just couldn't get the car in 2nd and 4th... I don't like excuses but I picked up 31 mph from the 1/8th with the boost all wavy.

This was mainly a tester for the car, 1st time it's been to the track in a year. I'll be changing some things around, getting the new boost controller worked out and re-tuned, it's running in the 10's for afr, so I have some room to play with.

FIMotorsports, were you the driver? I was by the car when you guys were taking the fuel out of the car, I was the one asking what the car dyno'd at and the one taking the gas out and saying turn the key on and off had said he doesn't know, never dyno'd it. Why did the plates say Illinois if you're from CT? also you guys got a shop there? Pruven is a bit too expensive for my taste, they do good work but charge too much for clutch install, headstuds etc. I am picking up AMS's or RNR's group buy turbo so I will need some stuff done.

I am going the 28th again but my MR isn't ready yet. I may run it with my small mods now, just waiting on my R-500 Wideband so I can learn to tune a bit with the UTEC then run it. But I had the Grey MR with the Carbon Fiber hood, and SSR Competitions with mr headlights and taillights. I was parked next to my boy's 04 Cobra and some guys yellow Evo.

I recently moved to CT. I don't have a shop, yet... but plan on opening up this year. I haven't dyno'd the car yet, I'll have to do it soon as tuning on the street is just dangerous. I would pick up AMS's turbo kit, not just because I run it... customer service is top notch, had problems with RNR.

I seen your car, looks good! I would hit the track before you do the mods so you know where the baseline is. Also get a feel for the track, launch and shifting.

I was the one in the White Aeropostale hat and shirt with the black vest, and yeah I will. I know the track, been going there for about 4 years now. Started when I 16 racing an 89 chevy beretta just for fun. Then a dodge Stealth TT and I raced my 03 Evo before I got the MR. Had Catback and AFC and ran a 13.01. What kinda problems with RNR? Not in a grudge war, just money been a little tight and I dunno if AMS is still got the group buy, I would be looking at about a 600 dollar difference which would be cams I would be picking up soon.

I'd rather not get into the RNR thing but seeing both kits and dealing with both companies AMS tops by far.

Traction problems with a slipping clutch, sounds like an Oxymoron?I went through the whole slipping clutch thing last year, and if its your stock clutch that is slipping, thats why you are having engagement problems with your trans. The stocker will slip, then heat up your disc,it will expand,so much so that it wont dis-engage fully when depressed and wont allow you to get second easily,if at all.Replace your clutch, break it in and you will be much happier next time at the track.
