Ralliart Dynos... discussions, arguments, and drama

just figued i'd post up a couple dyno numbers here and leave it open for discussion.

an EVOM.NET's members full N/A dyno sheets read 184 whp and 186 wtq (as he remembers them)

RRM dynos - Turbo Kit Stage one - STOCK - 7psi - 215hp 217tq
RRM dynos - Turbo Kit Stage one - 100+ octane - 8psi - 233hp 244tq
RRM dynos - Turbo Kit Stage one - 91 octane+ alky kit - 11psi - 242hp 264tq

RIPP dynos - SC Kit Stage one - 237hp 202 tq

the NA dyno was from an all modded RRM-product car, so lets say intake, piggyback, pulley, downpipe, exhaust, and manifold clutch/flywheel... plus other stuff here and there that wouldnt really show ona dyno sheet...

im buying the RRM kit in 3 weeks... i just want to have an open challenge to race whoeever has the RIPP supercharger kit, end the debate once and for all...

I'd like to know where you got that 184whp and 186wtq n/a. I can't find it anywhere. that's pretty impressive!!! doesn't look like it would take much more to acheive 200whp.

im gonna put my 2 cents in before this thread gets locked, im going to go turbo as well in about 2-3 weeks, ill run 93 octane and full dyno tuning when i put it on so, i think it would be up in the 250 whp stock........not to mention a bigger fuel pump and ignition system could bump it up some so we will see

haha, everything looks impressive until pr_mivec shows up with over 200whp n/a and then shows a dyno with over 250whp on nitrous i'm assuming. geese, awesome car pr_mivec, you definitely need to tell us your secrets, or at least pm me with them. I would love to have over 200whp N/A right now.

I have an auto as well. I was also thinking that the SC would be my best choice. I think I am going to wait until an auto gets a turbo though to see what those numbers are. Once I see those numbers I will make my choice on which way to go. The turbo will work just fine in an auto because when you want it to be boosting it will and when you don't want it to you can just stay in low rpm's. The SC will be boosting constantly though, which is ok because then you will have extra power at any rpm. The auto struggles at lower rpm which the SC would help, but if you think about it you will only be in out of boost with the turbo for maybe a second or two until it boosts. It's a tough choice and I would definetely research it in depth to make the correct decision for what you want it to do. I'm still stuck between the two right now but hopfully I can figure it out soon because I should be buying one or the other in a few months. I might just go turbo so that we can get some numbers for the auto guys on that.
