Mark,

I think you are probably the first on this forum to get this kit. There are a couple on NASOIC that have this kit, but most of the people with this kit at this point are on the internet and have purchased through our Magazine ads, etc. These are selling extremely well, both the diesel version and the car version like you purchased.

Honestly, this is a really cool kit. When you get the kit, remember if you have questions call us about anything. We put the latest application on your unit before we shipped it and will have new software releases every month or so that will add functionality.

Thanks again for your purchase and dont hesitate to call us with any questions or comments. Also, please keep in mind alot of the cool features you are going to see were due to customers suggestions. Any input on how to improve the software we take seriously, so if there are some features you would like that you dont see, please call us and let us know.

we are a different kind of company, we want to build systems that our users want, not just those that we want to make.

Thanks again!

Your IC sprayer tank should be methanol compatible. Shurflo is the name of our pump. Our pump is 100% compatible with methanol when sold with any of our controller based kits (including the commander kit). Our seals are EPDM which can handle over 300F and Pure Methanol. Most of the kits you see on the market have VITON seals that cant handle more than 50% methanol.

Thanks!

the operating range of EPDM-ethylene propylene diene monomer, is from -70F to 260F, ideally from -40F to 212F. High temp causes compression set, the valves will not seal and the pump will start loosing pump pressure.

boilling point of methanol ~150F
water 212F

My point was we specified the best possible seal. choice of Viton, Buna or EPDM, EPDM in this application is perfect.
