I have following for sale:
I purchased an 03 EVO 8 which I sent to TRE to get updated to an 05+ EVO tranny since they are basically the same thing. The Jon @ TRE did the once through with the tranny and told me everything was in great condition and he then upgraded it. In addition I purchased a shift kit with the tranny to convert my 6 speed to a 5 speed. Eventually I decided against doing the install for personal reasons.
TRE 5 speed 05+ EVO8 tranny with the following done to it.
6 month warranty through TRE - 0 miles!!!
EVO9 1st gears and input shaft
1st gear and input shaft shot peened to make it stronger as it is the smallest gear. The rest of the gears in the 5 speed tranny are very beefy.
REM-ISF Electro-polishing to reduce heat, wear and tear of the gears, etc
SOLD!
I paid $425 for the 5 speed shift kit which is brand spankin' new. SOLD!
I also have an Xede that I purchased a long time ago. Haven't used it so I don't know the condition. It included Xede, harness, serial cable and serial to USB converter. I would be interested in someone looking to swap an Apex-i S-AFC + some cash for the Xede.

Yes the 03-05 5 speed are pretty much identical. They have the same gear ratios, etc ... the only difference is the input-shaft between the 03-04 and the 05. The 05+ have a slightly different input-shaft as a result of the ACD, otherwise they are identical.
