not flaming or anything, but down payment? If I put $2000 on both my cars it would have dropped $50 and $75 [respectivly]. You get a deal on your down payment?

ya gotta look at the long run say its a 5 year loan... payments are, 200 a month... i think that would be a 12000 dollar car?
put 2000 down
its now 10,000
saves you 50 bucks a month
600 a year
and in 5 years
saves u 3000
thats an extra 1000 then you would have without it
maybe thats not alot to you, but to the penny savers like me. it is.
lancer or no lancer, its a car, a car that drives good and has a better rep then alot of cars out there.
and dont forget
on a the name of a evo what comes first ?!?!? oh its LANCER evo.

... Ouch.... Whats your Apr? Because 06 lancers are not much more then 05.. 355.89 for 5 years?!?!

I got a 2005 Lancer Es.. Originally they wanted 14,000$(not including taxes, doc fees etc), and got it down to 10,000(not including tax/doc fees)...

280 a month

I think you got ripped.. Especially if you put 2,500$ down, and traded in a car..

Oh I also had no one co-sign for me, and i'm 19(my only credit was my credit card I received back in Oct 06)

yeah, $355.89 is HUGE for a lancer. that's more than my friend pays for his WRX... with no downpayment and trading in a beat up tiburon.

i got my OZ for $7,150, put down a grand, and so i financed $6,150 for 36 months @ %6.24 and i'm paying $194-ish a month.

That's what I'm saying.... 355.89 for 60 months = 21,000 dollars.. you must of paid the sticker price and have a high *** apr.

I know, but everyone was throwing in their input into a thread that had nothing to do with it.
