I didn't really notice any gains by the BUTT, but it did seem to spool faster.

I haven't uploaded the pics. I hope to do that tomorrow.

It fit great.... Took me 30mins, most getting the stock piece off cuz the bracket bolts were sort of hard to reach.

THis thing is awesome. I bought it really cheap, but I believe they raised the prices.

Check out my link on the first post to get the guys ebay handle.

Here are the pics. The pipe was packaged beautifully and wrapped so it would not get scratched. You can see tha the pic. The couplers are grade A, and the worm clamps are very sturdy, but I will be using tbolt clamps.

Her are the pics................

EH those look like some big fat welds

From the ebay page linked above:

Have an AMS style lower intercooler pipe. It has the same dimension as the AMS pipe as well as the same surface treatment. Why spend over $200 on a pipe that you can get for much less? Made from T6061 aluminum. Instant 7-10HP bolt on and even more if you run a single turbo.
Wow ... even more if you run a single turbo??? Do these guys think the Evo is a twin turbo? **** like this is the reason I'd buy the real part first any day.

And how sad is it that they are blatantly ripping off the AMS design. If it's not illegal, it certainly is immoral.

Its not patented my friend.

Also, I told him about the error, he fixed it I believe in other sales. He meant "bigger turbo"

Sorry if I sound like a noob but when looking at these side by side I don't see the advantage of going with the aftermarket unit. They both neck down at about the same point, and both are made of the same material. Heck in anything the stock unit looks better because it is one piece and will flow without the interuption of the joint. Someone care to elighten me?

Just beause it's not illegal doesn't mean it's not immoral.

I mean they even copied the text from AMS's web page!

By the way, a product does not need to be patented for it to be illegal to be copied. Especially when it is sold for a profit and the vendor is so blatant about it being an exact copy.
