This week the spotlight is on dewood*! (6/23/07)
dewood* (age 18) who loves Evo’s, came across his 2002 Pearl White Lancer LS at an auction after it had been abused by a ricer and purchased it in February of 2006. This Lancer was his first car love and he feels, “it's so unique; it's rare to see other modified Lancers out on the street”. (This is a view I think many of us share). Out of the $2000 spent on his Lancer so far his favorite mod is his Megan exhaust because it adds a nice sound to the car. On the other hand his most disappointing mod was an Evo VII spoiler. Even though he wasn’t very satisfied with the spoiler he does miss having it. If he could, one thing he would change about his Lancer is to have a manual transmission instead of an automatic which he feels is keeping him form going “all out”. And just to let everyone know…if he ever caught someone abusing his car it’s going to be time to chew bubblegum and kick ***, and he is all out of bubblegum!
This show and go evolved member, came across Evolutionm.net while looking for more information on his Lancer and feels “It's a great forum with valuable information.” (True indeed) As far as the 08’ Lancers are concerned he feels that they do look good and would love to own one. Back on the topic of his Lancer, dewood* doesn’t have any complaints about his Lancer besides the lack of HP and feels it is a great car considering the fact that it has never failed him. dewood* is taking his Lancer in a direction that is going to make it a nice daily driver that can compete in AutoX. His future mods are springs and a rear sway bar with perches. While random people may sometimes mistake his Lancer for an Evo, one thing that he loves about his Lancer is “All the HAWT chicks he picks up in it”
