dangerousdans custom turbo kit, tentatively for sale

My GF lost her job today, and I'm a planner not a day to day kinda guy. I don't want to eat Ramen, and would rather drive an NA vehicle than sacrifice elsewhere. this is for the whole kit, but I will break it down if it's worth it. don't bother pm'ing me if you can't pay for a month, she'll have a job by then and the Ramen will have been eaten.

Here's what I have accumulated:

t3/t4 hybrid turbo exhaust side ported, gasket included (off an eclipse GST)

2.5" i/o FMIC, couplers, t-bolt clamps, but NO piping

turbular style custom exhaust manifold

bosch BOV

tial wastegate, gaskets included.

oil feed/return lines, fittings, hose ends, etc.

wrx injectors(stock, light blue, less than 40k on them)

evo 8 fuel rail

vacuum hoses

Glowshift EGT, boost, and oil pressure gauges, with their three pod a-pillar and applicable sensors.

I will include a basic list of things to accomplish, as well as provide you with support(obviously, since I do it for free all the time here anyway) if you need help with something.

you would need an exhaust upgrade (2.25" for low boost) fuel/timing controller(not 100% necessary to control timing, see my previous posts or those of thunder_rush. he's been running 10psi with the NA RRM piggy for about two years, and the NA piggy doesn't do timing) and intercooler piping, among various other things, in order to completely get this set up.

Like I said, whole kit, parted out if the money's, for sale IMMEDIATELY or not at all. I will ask a mod to close the thread when my ol' lady gets her next job

here is a thread with some of the information, I originally purchased a partial kit from migueralliart. I am not trying to make money on the kit, but I won't take a big hit. your costs will be lower because I sourced parts from all around, paid more shipping, and you would buy direct from me and pay only one shipping charge.

1600 plus shipping, you need to know the intricacies before I will sell it to you, because I don't want to hear squat when you get the kit and realize how much work a custom turbo setup is.

I've done pretty much all the purchasing for the kit, except the intercooler piping(100-200 on ebay). As with any NA to turbo conversion you have to do exhaust work. I am not including fuel/timing control, so you need to get that. as mentioned, smt-6 on ebay for less than 300 all the time, RRM NA piggy will work but doesn't do timing, RRM will sell (or has stated as much on here) their turbo piggyback that does do timing for ~800.

1600 plus shipping. I have most of the kit at my dads, so you will have to wait a minimum of two days for me to ship from the day I receive payment through paypal. I will only ship to your confirmed paypal address.

I prefer paypal, but will deal with other forms of payment as necessary. All forms of payment other than paypal must clear the ORIGINATING bank before I ship. In other words, if you send me a certified check or a personal check it will be 5 business days after it clears my bank before I ship it. It has to clear YOUR bank.
I'm not splitting the kit up, for any reason. It won't help me to have half a kit sitting around, sorry.

Totally, it sounds like an interesting set up, especially cool as its something you are putting together yourself instead of just getting the RRM kit etc.
Hope everything works out!

sold the piggyback already.

it's not about the money, it's about the security. with both of us gainfully employed I can spend money on my car and still be comfortable at home. with her unemployed, even if it's only temporary, I have to take into account where my money is best spent. I have a little bit tied up in this kit, and it's not where it should be right now.

You didn't put down any asking price. That might help to gather interest.

i think deep down dan doesnt really want to gain interest for this kit i hate that feeling when you try to sell something that you dont want to sell in the first place.

asking price wasn't calculated. I had to figure it out for a pm that I got.
