Need Advice

My car just started sputtering when I start to build boost in any gear. Under heavy acceleration it almost always studders. I have had a I/C hose come off before and it totally bogged the car down when that happened. So I highly doubt it's a hose. Any suggestions?

It doesn't feel like it hits a wall. It just starts bucking and jerking for a second or two and then resumes pulling to redline like nothing happened.

I actually feels almost as if I were tapping my foot on the pedal around 4-5k RPMs.

For some background...
I have an HKS intake, Megan TBE, and a temporary road tune that I got back in May. My friend had a tractrix cable and laptop and tuned everything except my a/f ratio because I didn't have a wideband. I am planning to get tuned after the 1st when I get my school loan check. I haven't had any problems before now.

How are your plugs? Check the gap.

I hope you're not running lean or something since your buddy "tuned" everything but the A/F.

Based off of what if you don't know A/F ratio? Black smoke out of the pipe?

I was able to do redline pulls(I hardly ever do one but I was able to) without this happening up until recently. Now it seems to happen quite often. I don't beat on it too much though.

id say sounds like plugs or plug wires, unless if it is ur tune.

get a wide band anyway its totally worth the money.

the inovate lc-1 is a good price and works really well

It is doing it almost all the time now. I just ordered some NGKBPR7EIX iridium plugs today. I hope that does the trick.
Does anyone know if these plugs come pregapped? If not, how much should they be gapped?
