At this point in time MMNA has no plans to release the EVO RS in the US. Maybe next year!?

^Doubt it, the Lancer RA comes out to $30k loaded, and the Evo X GSR is $33k.

There's no market for a price in between.

Yeah that's right, forgot about that "wanna-be Evo"...but if there's enough demand, I wouldn't put it past them to still release a RS model later on.

i wouldnt say there isnt a demand........ sure, the ralliart is gonna be priced at what the RS would be, BUT, the ralliart is not an evo! the RS is the most hardcore evo made, and just about every evo built by aftermarket companies have been RS'.... if they brought the RS over, they would have no problem selling them.... i for one am waiting for the X RS

Why do RS models in Japan and the rest of the world don't have AYC? The Ralliart is only not an Evo by name. It basically has all the Evo characteristics just less power.

Does anyone know if the RS in Japan have ABS? I also thought the ralliart has a different chassis.

It's the same exact unibody but with a little more structural bracing on the X.

We should petition MMNA to have ABS on the RS for NA. The majority of buyers use the RS for street, and almost all of us who race them would like the option of ABS and AYC to make it the fastest and lightest model.

I think the spirit of the RS is for rally racing where you don't want ABS, but very few here actualy use it for rallying. It also cuts cost, but I would gladly pay more for ABS.

i don't think that would work out too well, if you want an evo for street use then you get the GSR for power windows, a radio, and sound deterring materials .
