USP Motorsports Stock Turbo RS 413hp / 424tq!!!

We decided since we were bored today we would play with my bone stock 05' RS.. I grabbed all the used parts from around the shop.. We worked on the car from this afternoon to til night and put it on the dyno this evening.. To our surprise with this super budget setup we made a consistent 411-413whp with back to back runs.. I havent personally played around with stock turbos much since my 03' evo was on a 67p trim from day 1.. The car feels real good i must say.. here are the mods..

Megan manifold and 02 housing
Buschur Turbo Back
Hks 280 cams
stock evo IX Turbo
Injen Intercooler piping
Fuel Pump
ebay FMIC
DSM 1g BOV
Hallman MBC
Tuned by Cwill on Race Gas..

Here is the dyno sheet.. Peak Boost was 27lbs and where it made peak power was 24psi..

I figured the mods all used could be had for around 2k.. Im not sure if these are good numbers since i havent played with stock turbo cars much.. What do you guys think?? Thanks for the feedback!!

Mike

congrats on the nice numbers. I think even for race gas those numbers are really good. I bet that car pulls nicely with the stocker spoolup, gj

I got to drive the car home tonight, I must say what a fun ride. 20min ride home and this thing rips. Best part is there's no $ invested into it. I love Evo's
We're going to the track soon with this thing.

I like the fuel curve... very nice 280's probably helped a lot. I'm hoping to make 450whp on a green and meth w/280's. Cant wait... but 2k thats excellent job, should see what it makes on 93 pump.

Looks good. What are you using for engine management? Is this still a stock ECU mass air flow setup?

Nice! stock turbos at this level really make the car fun, and make you really question spending big money on a bigger turbo kit! Now just do E85 or An aquamist alky kit and rock this power daily, you will really have a LOT of fun with the car!

you hit the nail on the head.... you can have so much fun on stock turbo w/o the worry of breakages.. This car is definitely going on e85 soon.. then we can see the true power potential of stock turbo and at only 3.00 a gallon you cant beat it.
