Just installed ZChip, so now what??

There is a different tune for use with no boost control. You don't just put a 24psi map on 13psi stock at redline and expect to feel a result. You bought a MBC right? Use it for the boost the ZChip was tuned to be used for.

ZChip is tied to the car's boost sensing system so if you do not apply the correct amount of boost you're not making sense of the unit.

We have plenty of big power gains from Dubai, UAE, Sweden, Austrailia, Alaska, Hawaii and throughout the continental USA all the way to 91 octane at 7000 ft altitude!

Take a breath, install it correctly and all should be well.

is it recommended to install MBC without boost gauge? i dont think so, how am i going to know how much boost i am setting

EVC may be too difficult to install if you have no experience.

I would go with a MBC personally.Your new to modifying which is perfectly fine but simplicity is key when your just learning.

take a look at all of your wiring again its usually just something simple you over looked.

with the boost gauge its a relatively easy install just take your time and print off pictures from the how-to you choose to use for reference.

MBC is a headache to set, im an IT guy and love electronics
EBC can be configured with few clicks, much easier.... am i right?

the EBC is better then MBC. Because you install it and for get it. /if you do it right/ Mean while the MBC need constant adjustments with weather changes including temperature.
If you go with MBC then get a Hallman RX pro that is a best with the inside adjustment options. Makes it easy to adjust when you set up the boost controller when you drive. You dont want to do stop and go, until you find the right boost set again, right?

But dont use aftermarket boost controller without a proper boost gauge!!!!

yes thats what i want, install & 4get... i have the Forge Unos MBC sitting on the rear seat waiting to be installed... but i'm having second thoughts... why not EBC? electronic, easy to set and more features...just got a bonus so price does not matter

I used Forge, on my IX . And i changed it for Hallman . The Hallman is a much better boost controller. If you really want to know details about this, then go to a VIII-IX forum and look up the Hallmann vs Forge thread. There are many good posts there with all kind of proof and so on.
I dont want to go in this MBC issue here, and really i dont care. I just give you my opinion.
So for more detailed info is under the VIII-IX section.

Hopefully you can find a tuner to set it up for you unless your good with that stuff. I know Apexi AVC-R can be a b**** sometimes on these cars..
