Damn I want these pieces but that's just too much for something so simple.

Congrats. I actually bought my car at stohlman in March of 08. The sales guys were decent. They were the only ones in the 4 states around me at the time that had a GG evo with SSS in stock. I think their service department absolutely sucks though. At this point, I will just tell Phil from service to suck on my dick if he even tries to make eye contact with me. And the VA DSM can join him too. Absolute douche bags. There is even a sticky thread on dcevoclub.com to boycott stohlman. They gave me so much crap for a stock car for warranty service. A word of advice, if you don't mind the drive, Rockville Mitsu is a much better dealer that gives 15% off all accessories to members of dcevoclub.com. I got my second set of TPMS sensors from them.

As for the floor mats, I am waiting for Weathertech to make them for the Evo. I am never paying one more cent to Mitsu service/Parts unless absolutely required.

Enjoy the car

BTW, I have the VA plates "4B11T" on the air & space museum design.

You think that's a rip off? In Canada they charge $458 for the parking brake handle!

I'm gonna buy mine from ebay... lol

WeatherTech DOES make floor liners for the EVO X. I bought them... and they fit great! They almost look like they are a part of the interior of the car.

Dude!!!! Pictures or it never happened. They only list a regular Lancer, no selection for evo, that's why I presumed they never made for the X.

I will buy them in the next 20 minutes if you got pics. Post it as a new thread if you need to instead of hijacking this one.

No no... there's no difference!

I was nervous about that too... because the website just says regular Lancer... but they fit fine. Also while the website just said "Lancer"... the box I got them in says "Lancer/Lancer Evolution".

the GSR I bought used came with these. however, the shift knob is a bit different for obvious reasons. you can imagine how surprised I was when I found out the price the previous owner must have paid for these pieces!

one thing worth mentioning: the shift knob is horrible on the hottest and coldest days. if it sits in the sun for a few hours, or freezes overnight, it is downright painful to hold on to!!

I had the totally opposite experience... guess it just is who you run into. Was kinda nervous about the MR wanted to take it for a test drive. Stolhman "No test drive on EVO" Are you F***ing kidding me! I've test drove cars worth 2x as much with no hassle. Never had a single problem with the service deparment. I had a problem with water in my headlight an nobody would fix it under warranty... Stohlman ... no questions just replaced it.

Parts look nice but I can think of something else I would like to spend the money on... always have problems spending money on purely cosmetic parts. Plus metal can be slippery.

The OEM lancer all weather floor mats are pretty bad. I've had them for 1 year and theres a huge hole where my heel usually is beneath the clutch.

Those both look really solid & clean, & are my favorite knob/handle infact. but I can't justify spending that much on cosmetic, OEM parts when I can get something just as nice from say, MOMO, Sparco, or another aftermart company for about 1/2 the price. & I agree, I think they should come standard on the MR, but it is what it is.

Nice job on the discount though, that always helps.
