Stock mats suck. I just got some cheap-o-walmart (Goodyear) mats. They work great!

i just put my old cheapy rubber rain/snow mats down first day i get any vehicle. It kept my 2005 saturn ion 3 mats in mint cond. And thus far my evo x has some beautiful black mats underneath those nasty rubber mats.

On a side note : anyone order the rain mats for their evo's? i assume they look better but do they function or are they too pretty and too small to fit all areas?

^^how did you do that? were they tearing and you went and got them replaced?

If I were to try that with my luck they would say "sorry you were wearing the wrong type of shoes, you should of been driving barefoot".

Went in and talked to the person in charge of service and showed them the mat. It's got what looks like a burn mark on it and I don't smoke. I'd take a pic, but my car is at the body shop getting holes drilled in the CF trunk.

The all-weather ones from lancershop.com look promising. I'll buy these before winter!

And the VA DSM can join him too. Absolute douche bags. There is even a sticky thread on dcevoclub.com to boycott stohlman. They gave me so much crap for a stock car for warranty service. A word of advice, if you don't mind the drive, Rockville Mitsu is a much better dealer that gives 15% off all accessories to members of dcevoclub.com. I got my second set of TPMS sensors from them.

As for the floor mats, I am waiting for Weathertech to make them for the Evo. I am never paying one more cent to Mitsu service/Parts unless absolutely required.

Enjoy the car

BTW, I have the VA plates "4B11T" on the air & space museum design.

I will buy them in the next 20 minutes if you got pics. Post it as a new thread if you need to instead of hijacking this one.

I was nervous about that too... because the website just says regular Lancer... but they fit fine. Also while the website just said "Lancer"... the box I got them in says "Lancer/Lancer Evolution".

Is this what you have?

OEM All-Weather after 13k miles...

OEM All-Weather rubber was just too thin. I remember back then when OEM rubber mats were solid rubber.

I may have to buy the WeatherTech, too.
