Any bored with their Evos yet?
im 6 1 250 lbs of raw terror im 45 and i think i qualify to talk since ive owned and ridden in too many cars to remember. because of my size most cars just didnt feel right in the **** pit. forget the cramped coffin like feel of the vette. no matter how much i adusted the seat i either jammed my knees on the steering wheel, never got the right hight, or was too far back were i felt uncoordinated. this was a big problem until i stepped into an evo. it was love at first site just by sitting in it without driving it. i felt right at home. i became apart of the car, i was the car. my curiosity finally, subsided , when my rich buddy (who i used to kick his *** in highschool all the time. he know makes more money than i do and rubs his toys in my face all the time to mess with me). ( i can still kick his ***. he cant change that!) . very arrogantly offered to let me get behind the wheel of his brand new merce. c55 . he even let me abuse the gas pedal . well after i blew my nut , i must say it must of been the fastest car stock that i can remember. ( except for my 69 amx 401 back in the 70s ). its the best luxury to performance feel combination around for a 4 door sedan. well after i gave him back his keys i had to wipe that **** eating grinn off his face and get him in a rear naked choke. you should of seen how big my smile was now. after all said and done. i got back in my evo. and you know what? outside of the torque difference the c55 had over the evo. my car still felt right. more responsive than your own hand job. once i upgrade to a turbo x utec and turbo back exhaust, ( i live minutes from turbo x manufacter.) oustide of the pimp feel you get in the c55 iwont even blink twice. in conclusion . i found my home in the evo. my son turns 16 next year . just in time to pass it down to him, and for me to get an MR. HEHE!
Well, so far the car is 10 days old and has racked up almost 1600 miles, and I'm lovin' every one of 'em (even the first 1000, which were done below 5K rpm). The handling on this car is just un-freakin'-believable, so's the speed. Granted, it's not a great high-way cruiser, since the suspension really doesn't seem to settle in until you're well past national speed limits, but then again I didn't get this car do mosey along at 55... I got it so that I could take back roads on my commutes instead of interstates, so that I could take any turn at more than twice the posted limit. In short, I got this car to DRIVE ... if I wanted a smooth ride, I'd be in a limo :P
Tired?!?! Hah! I haven't even begun to explore how much fun can be had with this car.

I was linked to this forum from another website, and just felt like giving my input in this thread, even though I don't own an Evolution.
I myself, drive a 1998 Honda Prelude SH (I'm 18, and I have enough trouble paying for this. I can't imagine a 30k car) and to tell you the truth I love getting into this car more and more every single day. It's quick but definately not super-fast, but that doesnt matter, since I just enjoy driving. I'm a spirited driver so to speak. Numbers don't matter to me, only the joy of driving. But I seriously can't see how you are getting sick of a car that is in the upper 90% of car performance. Your car is not only faster then probably 98% of the cars on the road, but it has handling they can only dream of. It really boggles my mind.
I suppose everyone is different. Maybe one day you'll realize that your car is a blast to drive. Because you won't find many cars that will give you a bigger sensation of power then one of those Evo's do.

i seriously wouldnt get rid of this car. i thought bout trading it in on an RX8 but that one had some many issues out of the dealership only upgrade would be is to some higher price import over 30k & this car is the best bang for the buck imo. long live the 4G63

Did you post about it on SVTperformance? I bet that thread would be down right nasty
