ehhh not really.. lol just happened that way.. u wont see the colors together really. i just think silver cars with orange accents look good (err well flashy) and blue in the engine bay would stand out more and be easier to cover up flaws with.

Rob...whats up man!!! i remember flying out there and picking up my turbo kit from you...keep up the awesome work!!

I had a dream i bought another 02-03 lancer oz rally and built her up again...
I even told my coworker that owns an 02 (auto) I regret parting out and selling mine.
Oh how I want another project lancer...hahaha
Maybe one day soon, it may happen??

I still remember how I did it...I can build it with my eyes closed...lol

Hope all is well!! Miss you guys...i was just in san diego 3 weeks ago...might make a move in sunny SD...

This thread shocked me when i first read up on this project...great stuff in these forums...

PS...does anyone know who has my turbo setup on these forums?? i wonder if he still has my setup i sold him??

usually ur right, but not with slicks, atleast not from what ive seen. id love a built manual, but cant justify the cost over what i have going already.. ive just seen more promising results out of the older autos, that i dont think has been explored with the newer generation autos, and they're remarkably similiar transmissions.

few of my buddies dont use slicks at the track anymore cuz they blew up 3 or 4 f5xx trans in a row from to much traction with typical 24.5x9x15 slicks, either differential, gears, or an axle, on every trip to the track on only a few passes at moderate boost.. and i walk them hard beyond 30mph.. i just cant launch.. big 5k stall converter with a small nitrous shot should fix that.

dude u sold it to still has it.. but he ditched the aem ems, and is back to stock ecu.. He might have taken the setup off the car(he was debaiting it), but he still has it.. its been a while since ive talked to him.. havent logged on AIM in a while.. LOL
