on saturday 11/22/2008 at 10:40 am i flew over to costa mesa, ca

on wednesday 11/26/2008 at 3 am i arrived at my house with a TB evo 9 se in MINT condition.

few desserts, few mountain ranges, the gm plant, a horrible snow storm, las VEGAS, 2 75 dollar oil changes, a wheel bearing replaced today under warranty, and the very much needed interior/exterior/unerbody/engine bay 50 dollar wash..... the car's sitting in my jobs parking lot during my first day back to work on a regular routine day of my job.

since i first went for a ride on an evo 7 in summer of 2002 i've wanted one.... 6 years 6 months i got one. i know most people on here can just cough up an evo out of their wallets it actually took me a lil more so thats why i think its such a big thing that i finally have mine.

i advise anyone who really and trully wants one to just do whatever it is that you have to do, AND GO GET IT. you will be happy, and they are worth every penny.

btw only mods, tints from the back doors back lol. hahahaha

Guys thank u so much and yes it is a huge sense of aconplishment. And I am now even debating moving to the west coast. I loved it.

And about the tunel thing trust me man. Just knowing I was wot my OWN Evo was a crazy enough feeling. I seriously and trully use to dream about just driving one for hours never mind THIS crazy trip, to get the one I'd own.

It's been almost a month and I still get a smile on my face every morning when I first walk up to it. U guys are all lucky as heck to have owned one for so long. Don't take them for granted WE own some of the most saught after cars in the automotive industry. People from all motorsports disciplines respect OUR (LOL) cars.

Btw I am super broke In the worse modern economical crisis but I'm happy LOL.

Did you manage to do all that without getting a ticket?

That sounds like a hell of a fun trip. Congratulations.

Very nice car man and it looks like you had one hell of an adventure. You're right too, know matter how long it takes when you finally do get your Evo it's all worth it.

It's nice to see someone that excited about their Evo. I was in a similar situation. I rode in a brand new 2003 VIII and I fell in love with it. Of course I first learned about the Evo on Gran Turismo......haha. I swore that if I ever had the money that I would get one. Finally in March of 2007 I picked up a Brand New Evo IX SE on my Birthday. I was so freak'n excited!!! Congrats on the purchase and good luck with it.
