2005 Electric Blue Evo 8 Bring it back to life! My final Evo!!

Thought it was time to start a thread since I have owned this Evo since May. Name is Brian, been in the Evo game since 03. This is my fourth and final Evo! I have been searching for an Electric Blue Evo for months. I spent countless days off, traveling to other states to only find junk and rusted out Evo's .. I came a cross this crazy Electric Blue Evo on craigslist. It had a god awful Chinese body kit on it. At this point you can tell I was getting desperate!! I sent him a message with no response for weeks. Then out of the blue I got a message on here from a kid who was selling his EB Evo. I told him to text me with pictures. Low and behold it was the same evo on craigslist.

After contemplating for a day or two I decided hell I will take the trip to upstate NY to look at it. Whats the worst it can do, waste another day off? Well I get to upstate NY and I pull up to the house. Meet this kid and he took me to his horse barn. (So literally this felt like finding an old 69 charger in a barn) There it was body kit was already off and he started to put it back to factory OEM panels. I was actually impressed , zero rust, no major issues, no damage and well kept. Car came with a ton of aftermarket parts. After a test drive and looking it over 100xs I decided to give him an answer on the phone on my way home. We both agreed on a reasonable price. Three weeks later I picked it up. This car in my mind was a mess but only a mess that I know is an easy fix. It came with a 2.3l ams and aem ems... I want to make this a high hp kick butt street car that would kick A$$ at the track too. THIS WILL BE MY LAST EVO!!

So without further adieu here is my FINAL PROJECT..

Here is pictures of what the car looked like before I bought it.

After 3 days of being home I started to gut it down to a bare shell. Knowing I was replacing every part and every bolt.

I spent 110 hours removing extra wires , rewiring things , removing the roll cage , repairing the holes the roll cage made, taking the sound deadening out and other weight reduction mods.

Good luck with the build! Is Buschur or STM tuning the AEM?
