Can you guys change the time from 45 seconds to something less? It would bee cool to not have to wait 45 seconds to make a post right after another one. can you do it on specific threads? thanks

I'm would be more than happy if it was changed to 1 minute or longer.

try answering multipul posts with 1 answer... it seems to cut down on needing the 45 second rule.

Generally speaking, if it takes less than 45 seconds to type a reply, it's probably not worth posting.

If you can type your reply in 15 seconds, just think of the other 30 as an opportunity to correct all the blatant spelling and grammar errors, along with evaluating how a complete stranger would inerpret your post.

No, it would just make them register multiple accounts to post more than one thread...which would make banning them even more annoying.

Yeah, please remove it.. that way any script kiddie on the planet can take the site out with a simple exploit.

I personaly agree that 45 seconds is pretty liberal and should stay or be increased (if anything).

Most boards have it at a minute or more.

Be thankful

I'm quite certain I'm one of the faster typers on here, but the issue isn't how quickly you're capable of finishing a message. It's keeping down useless posts and in a distant second, minimizing impact on the server. The flood filter prevents people from signing up and spamming the **** out of the boards. I was kidding about the increase, but I think 45 seconds is more than fair.

I'm a damn fast typer.... I never get affected by the 45 second rule. Also I do think it should be more than 45 seconds only because it's annoying in like attn post ****** where people post like hundreds of times a day, when real conversations could go on.

I don't understand why seventeen 3-word posts are better than one well-thought-out post. If you submit a post and realize that you neglected something, try .
