Log-out timing?

OK, is it possible to raise the time before we log out? I don't know if this happens to other people, but...

I have my EvoM set up for 100 posts per page. Inevitably, by the time I finish reading a long thread, I'm logged out.

Could you make it a longer time, Mark? Like an hour or something?

i think that's a problem on your side with the cookies so look at your browser's settings. i don't have a problem on here, nor on the forums that i'm an admin. I've been logged onto both for quite a long time, = couple days.

Oops, nevermind then.

It sounds like you may only have a session cookie that lasts for a small amount of time. If you use IE, check your privacy settings under Tools -> Internet Options, then select the Privacy tab. Make sure it's set to something like Medium and that the settings aren't being overridden in the advanced section.

Seems to be Medium, and I don't see anything different in the Advanced section. But these computers (at work) have plenty of administrative controls on them.

Thanks!

EvoM's inactivity timeout is 10 minutes, I believe. I don't get logged out, per se, but my unread threads get reset. Much of an annoyance.
