sometimes if you have a problem with a vendor they wont resolve it until you post it for all to see. its only when they see the negitive publicity that they will make a point to resolve it.

There's only 2 meaningful posts, and both belonged in PM/e-mail before the thread was started.

There is a big difference between feedback/complaints and slander. A thread titled "<vendor> sucks!" with no apparent effort to resolve the issue beforehand is slander, and the staff will make an effort to protect our vendors from slander; just like we make an effort to protect our members from illegal business practices.

Sorry, I have a life too.

As for the non-vendors selling goods, we're trying to chase them down. It's not an easy task separating should-be vendors from individuals, and even more difficult getting them to register. If you see someone you think is selling bulk items, but isn't a vendor, please report it. We only have ~15-20 sets of eyes and don't see everything that gets posted.

In the particular thread, the original poster had made no apparent effort to resolve it before posting the thread. He was ******* Accolade without giving them a chance to help the buyer.

If a user is hitting a roadblock in getting resolution, we'll step in and help.

Just like a school, you think the dean and teachers run it?...there is no way to run a school without student as they are the reason the teachers are there. and Its also the same reason accolade is here, is because the demand for it is high enough that it helps you pay your bills every month...but if everyone got out and went to another then what?...
We're aware that our members are very important. We will never let a vendor who we know is misrepresenting their business practices continue on the site; we've removed numerous vendors in the past who were not legit.

That said, Kareem is not a customer being cheated of anything - he is a person with a vendetta against a vendor on this site. To use your analogy, he is the dropout trying to convince the students to rebel against the teachers and principals.

hey can I just give the site 250 bucks a month and have all the mods in the palm of my hand too? I want to be able to tell mods which thread to delete and which threads to keep and for only 250 bucks seems like a good price for that amount of power

If you up that to $500/month, you may have yourself a deal.
