Like most of you, I am a member on other forums, such as JDMuniverse.com If you go to this forum they have an 18+ section called "ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING GOES" that is only accessible if the moderators approve you(im sure there is another way that is easier, but JDMU is small). You have to give your birthday and such and then there is an agreement that you have to check the box and such. I think we should have something like this for people who want to post "not appropriate" threads. This forum would also only show up in the forum list if you are registered for it.

With Mark's rules on no ****, no street racing, and no hardcore drug stores, what's left that you need an 18+ forum? unless you want to change the rules that have been around for 4 years now and seem to work fine.

oh and peejay's rules on the software/cracking in the gaming that haven't been around for so long.

 

software cracking in the gaming is illegal. I am not talking about a forum to post stuff like that.

I dunno it keeps some things away from the public, thats all.

I.E. someone has pics of a naked girl on their car/someone elses car. Is that ****? No.

Theres just a vast range of stuff that an Anything and everything goes forum can be used for.

It's just an idea.

There's just a lot of potential liability in this. If there were strict rules for joining EvoM, then maybe it would be an possibility, but even still Mark runs this site as he sees fit. It's his site, and we are all simply users of it. I'd love to have a rant section where I could go and post my "angry motherf****r" stories, but I can't on here, so I don't. I refrain from profanity on here as much as possible because I respect the rules of this forum. Well, sometimes I slip, and sometimes I trip the word filter, but you get the idea.

 

I don't mean to pull a Potter Stewart on this, but Mark's rules are "I know it when I see it." (full quote: "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description; and perhaps I could never succeed in intelligibly doing so. But I know it when I see it")
