Well between the attitude of the mods and all discussion being closed, this is no longer forum. It's an archive. I don't come here for an archive.

Telling people to go search is stupid. If all we did was search, nobody would ever talk. It's a discussion forum. A guy asks if he should turbo his OZ, he should be allowed to ask. A mod closing it thinking anyone who is against turboing it are flamers is just plain stupid. Locking ANY thread that has any discussion in it is pointless. You should only have to lock a thread if it is reduced to flaming, and if that happens enough then certain people should be getting vacations to avoid it. I rarely see any flaming here, so I guess you mods got bored with all your power.

The mods seem to be getting all the last posts because once they have their say, they close it. It was never like this before and we never had any problems before.

Something you mods need to learn that telling someone to search doesn't solve the person's problem, and locking it up just pushes people away. You are getting the complaints and saying nothing is wrong, but obviously something is wrong. Learn to be more mature mods, honestly.

Well, that does it for me. I'm out. Don't even care if you care, and even if you do change your ways I probably won't come back. It's just the feather that broke the camel's back.

 

wow someones ticked off lol. well its all in moderation my friend you cannot simply join this forum/community and just post topics on all your questions its expected for users to search and to find out as much info as they can and if they cant find any info then you ask a question thats how it is in life and any other forum on the net! man get with it and stop your *****in.

 

yeah I closed your thread that have absolutely nothing to do with lancer general or lancers in general.

I didn't close the turbo thread, but ya know there are several, probably hundred, threads on turboing lancers, both positives and negatives, various vendors vs custom, etc.

most "I wanna turbo" my lancer threads any more are for attention anyway, so what does it matter if 1 got closed?

and by closing that 1 thread, we saved lots of space from post ****** saying "search n00b" 12 times or starting bickering fights about why someone would even bother to turbo an econobox.

The day the membership of this board can have a mature, level-headed argument is the day we'll permit it. Since that'll never happen, you'll have to look elsewhere.

As for street racing... well, I'm not sure why you'd expect us to allow such discussions, thus implicitly condoning illegal and extemely dangerous behaviors, not to mention incurring even more flaming.

There are rules, and we enforce them. I guess you should find a board with rules you like better.

If you want every single member to post a "should I go turbo or no?" thread, we can ask about a forum just for that. Hell, even I've posted that before. As Robert commented, the same questions come up over and over. I'd like to think I don't close anything new and being discussed. But when someone asks if it's worth turboing an 03 OZ, do you expect new information to pop up? It's a three year old car. There have probably been 200 turboed 1st Gen Lancers. Trust me, we've discussed it.

Yes, we're here for discussion. But if you talk to your friend everyday, and everyday he just asks the same question and you say the same things, what does that make the discussion? To me, it makes it repetative and a waste of time.

 

Do you realise that this forum is one of the dumbest setup I have ever seen. Almost all forums have like a War Section, Dumb *** Section, Tech Section, Video Section, but us noooooo. We can't have that, we are to high class. We are not Humans. We cannot express empotion, or anything because someone will either erase what we wrote or ....etc... To tell you the truth and I swear I could have done this, but I have no interest of screwing with anyone. I can easily shut this site down or even worse. The way this site is setup is a joke. There are so many ways to send a virus that will *** up everything and everyone you have no clue. Actually I can give this to my Proffesor from school to give it to the class as a assignment, to see which person in the class can do the worst damage to the site.

Once again, Everyone in here is Human and everyones $**** stinks. So we should be able to express our emotions and if someone doesn't like it DO READ IT.....
