I know that there had been a number of requests for changes to the old "for sale" section, but I really dislike the new format. I dislike it enough that I've pretty much stopped using it. The current layout makes casual shopping both difficult and time consuming & I really dislike the split up topics - it completely cuts the usefulness of thread searches.

I'd like to suggest an alternate layout based on car type like the main topic break down. Perhaps move to "Evo - For Sale" and "Evo - WBT" topics with matching topics for other cars. While the solution wouldn't be perfect (sound gear - for example) it would really make things more useful for casual browsing. I've always used search when trying to track down specific items, and being able to do multiple searches on a single thread really beats thread hopping + searching.

 

to be honest i also don't scan the for sales even a 1/4 as much as before...lol. I still use it to sell though...just not really to buy.

 

Since I never saw the old format I can't compare, but im using them to buy my Evo lol

I find it easier. If I know what I want, I go to that section. If I'm browsing, I browse each section. I don't know what's so hard about that.

PS - are you aware that you can search the entire Private For Sale Want To Buy forum as a whole? Not just the individual sub-forums. What about doing that?
