Talking New forums for EVO owners and a couple of suggestions

Hello,

1) It seems to me that it would be wise to create specific EVO related "Vendor" forums, "Private Buyer/Seller" EVO forums and a list somewhere of all the vendors that frequent these boards (EVO or otherwise). This would create a quick and easy way to get connected with them. By stating what they specialize in (body kits, turbos, electronics, etc) and what vehicle(s) they work with(EVO, Lancer, etc), it would be a lot easier to navigate and sort out who's offering what for which vehicle.

2) If there is a way to create a rating system, it could be implemented into the vendor list and the vendor could then be rated based on consumer experience. In accordance with these ratings, the vendor with the highest marks would be placed on the top of the list as the current premier place to go for goods. If said vendor received enough bad ratings, they would slowly work thier way down the list and others(based on their ratings) would move up. I am not a web design savvy person and I don't know how difficult it is to create self-sufficient programs like these, but it seems like it would take a lot of guess quess work out of on-line parts shopping. Plus, it would save many consumers the headache of shopping somewhere that practices poor customer service.

Just a Suggestion,

Honestly, we're going to be getting rid of vendor forums pretty soon and just use LancerShopper. With more vendor participation you'll find getting prices, reviews, and finding products much easier. You'll be able to search for products and filter my model (Evo, Lancer, etc), then find prices from various vendors.

LancerShopper will eventually implement a vendor rating system as well.

There's just too many negatives to forum classifieds and we need to get away from them ASAP.

Ahhh,

Sounds great!
Having a neutral, generic and anonymous source for shopping and feedback is a very wise way to go. It will delete any opportunity for drama and childish blabbering that is so common and wasteful .

Thanks a lot,

Will
