Mandatory price posting in private for sale forum!!

Can we get some kind of rule to enforce people who sell their private crap to post up a price. No one is a mind reader and it is annoying. This will eliminate any low balling and also make the sale the post flow a lil smoother. I just seen a post on someone doing a dam bid in the private for sale forum. This is not ebay!!

some people would rather have offers instead of posting a price and getting low balled

I think you got it backwards. If they post a price, then they should post a price that they are looking for and next to the price they can also say "firm" meaning non negotiable, so that would make the reader come to the conclusion that no other prices are welcome

some people are not always sure what the retail on their used product is, and are just looking for a market price, so to say, by just taking offers from people.

Something is worth what one will pay. If you don't know the value than it is better to just ask for offers instead of setting a price because than you will get more for it. If you just set a price and that price is very low than you will sell it but you could have gotten much more if you asked for offers.

I think this should be mandatory as well. If they want to Auction it then put it on Ebay. This place is supposed to be for people to help others out and share information not have a bidding war on your used or new parts.

agreed pricing should be mandatory, I mean you could still lowball and if the seller sells it to you +1 for you if not he will sell it to the person willing to pay the price they want. also vendors should be held to the same standaard instead of having to pm them and then them pm'ng you the price it's a waste of time
