Rude and sarcastic moderators?

I've noticed that some of the moderators are making rude comments and using censored words in this thread themselves.

Who moderates the moderators?

I'm just wondering, because seems like they hold the red button, and they release on anyone who they want to, whether or not if it was appropriate.

He means this thread:

Can you point out the rude comments by "fireball" for me, "forbidden_color", because I sure as hell can't see it.

I meant in this forum.

Not just that thread alone, but there were some comments I read that Lightsped wrote and few others that I just couldn't make any sense.

I just went back to point few out but i can't seem to find it. It maybe deleted by the moderator.

But how does your moderation work? Are they a paid people by Evom or something that they volunteer for?

I guess moderators are no better than the people they moderate.

I don't see anything funny about your snide and rude comments.

Whatever man, get a life.

I actually changed my post, but he posted this again.

I'm not complaining, but I'm trying to see what are some rules that you place for the moderators.

that's all.

Seems recently, a lot of the vendors and users are getting banned for some of the things that's said that wasn't a big deal back when this forum started.

i mean, we have more condescending people in this forum than before but most of the time they go posting freely.

So does that mean, I could be condescending and make snide comments as long as I don't seem upset?

It's solely volunteer on their part. They are not compensated.

Regarding Lightsped, he's not even on our roster any longer (since a year ago).

you're right. I got him confused with Speedlimit.

Do you know where I could find some information on some of the rules that moderators have to follow?

We hold our moderators to the highest regard. We expect them to act professionally and courteously as is with most jobs. Of course, everyone makes mistakes and there's no way to avoid that.

Well, we can't let that get by now, can we? Times have changed and so have our patience and tolerance.

No, there are no written/typed rules as far as I'm concerned.
