EvoM website question.

When I open the evolutionM webpage I get a delay before the forums pop up, all that pops up for a few seconds are the advertisments and then the forums will eventually pop up...Is this a by design exposure to the advertising (assuring isolated consumer advertisment time), just a problem with my browser, or simply traffic related?

Thanks!

My thought is that it's just a delay in your browser trying to draw the page. There is a lot of work for the browser to do to support the hover-over descriptions, etc.
Mine does it to, but the delay is different on different speed PC's.

I think you need a newer computer.
or a different browser.

I have firefox and I don't get any problems like you are experiencing.

How old is your computer? Sounds like a slow computer problem to me.

Slow computer problem. A lot of CPUs that I use (home, work, etc) really get dragged down by the animated ads and avatars used on EvoM.

I don't know if this is the same type experience, but certain pages on the site like the forum index never seem to finish loading.

Everything is displayed on the page, and it appears to be done loading, but if you hover over the top of the page, you still get an hour glass, and at the bottom "opening page http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com blah blah blah.

This has nothing to do with CPU or browser or connection speed. It has to do with your advertising. googlesyndication crap or something.

This is a recent phenomenon!
