Why was my thread moved?

I had posted a topic in the advanced forum about something the average tuner does not normally do. For some reason, it was moved outside the advanced section. I could see it being moved within the engine/turbo/drivetrain section of the advanced forum (I had originally posted it in the tech section), but see no adequate reason as to why it was moved to the general engine/turbo/drivetrain? Did this happen because I don't normally post here, or was there another reason?

We do not move comments based upon the members posting frequency. Do you have a link to the post you are referring too? It is not obvious which one was moved. Also, the advance forum has very specific rules and the moderator apparently felt the post did not meet the advanced criteria?

Yes, I have read the guidelines, and I have also looked at what else has been posted in the forum overall. Based on the nature of the question being asked, I feel that it did and still does belong there.

I believe I moved that thread.
IMO it didn't need to be in advanced because it a Q&A type thread and not an advanced topic for disucssion. It's only ironic that you got a great response in Evo Engine.

Above are two cited examples of questionable threads which were allowed to stay. Mine was easily on par or exceding these threads level due to the complexity of what was involed and the fact that it involved work not done by the average tuner.

Do not misunderstand, I am not angry about getting the responses I did, which were of substantial help. I am , however, highly disappointed that this was not considered "advanced" enough to remain because I had the audacity to to pose it as a question, which is not clearly stated in the rules about advanced thread. WHat also appalls me about this is there are other threads written in the same manner in the adavnced forum.

Another travesty is that a great "how-to" even evolved from this, coutesy of Co-VR4, which will probably be lost in the masses

IMO, if you will not allow us, the users, to use the advanced forum for what it was intended, being that of addressing questions and discussions of a more in-depth level be it of a scientific nature or of an uncommon procedure not covered in the "how-to's" nor addressed to the point of nauseousness, the advanced forum thus really has no purpose.
