Modderators: why did you move my post?

I noticed that you moved my post to a somewhat obscure location, the Southeast region which will limit it's exsposure. My post is neither a tech nor a rumor, I've emailed you asking why you moved it w/ no responce from you. Would you please put it back in the Evo General section as this is for ALL members who may be interested in the North east, South, Southeast, Midwest, who knows? people come from as far north as Canada to drive the Dragon, so why would you limit it to the SE region?!
Please place it back in the Evo General section.

Hi,

I moved your post because it is a regional event (Tennessee) ; which is consistent with our policies concerning content and location. And I do not know who you emailed. Thanks.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience your car the way it was meant to be driven, then this is your opportunity. We are organizing a road trip & drive up to and on the legendary “Dragons Tail @ Deals Gap”, Rt. 129 with all 318 curves in 11miles, and 53 miles of the Cherohala Skyway.

In all fairness to SGT the Dragon run draws frolks from all over, not just the southeast. The first DSM dragon run we did had folks from as far as Maine and Ohio. JMO

PLease be careful when your on the dragon and do not run over any bikes PLEASE!!!!!!! This has been a bike meca forever as long as I can remember, so if you all do go PLEASE watch out for bikes, and take a minute to look at the wall of shame while you are there too. Have fun its a blast, however I have not been on it in a car per se, but have fun none the less.

The event may draw people from all over, but you advertised a "road trip & drive up" to the event, which can only be done by people in the Southeast. I don't think people from Maine are going to drive down far South of Tennessee to join a caravan driving North from Florida, or am I mistaken?

I would not join a caravan, but I would go there from CT, about 12 hours, but a nice trip for a long weekend.

Speedlimit,
Again, sorry about my misreading your reply! Thank you very much for moing it back too!

warrtalon,
You are partially mistaken. Yes there will be people driving up from FL. but the rally point will be TN/NC. People typicaly drive from the surounding states and well beyond just to drive this very exciting/challenging stretch of road. My objective is to let as many people as possible know of this trip, with the idea that they could meet us there if they wanted to. Too bad your so far away, you'd really love this place. The Cheraholla Skyway, which connects to the Dragon, is 54 miles long and has just as many curves but spaced out much further apart, it's more like a scenic roadcourse.
