timzcat... What the heck?

I did not even offer the guy a lowball offer. Please do not edit my posts without EVEN telling me. Why did you edit my post? I just told the guy you could get an IX MR brand new for 32... And you call it a lowball? I didnt even offer him anything...

I'm not timz, but looking at the thread, it's pretty clear to me why it was edited. Posting in someone's FS thread pretty much telling them that you think their price is too high is similar to lowballing. If you don't like someone's price, move on. People can ask what they want, and if it's too high, they won't get offers, and the price will drop. If you were seriously interested in the car, you could've put in a serious offer.

Are you kidding? All the editing/moving/deleting I've done this morning, you think I'm going to notify everyone that broke the rules?

You aren't special. When you do something wrong, we fix it and move on. You don't get a pass from the mods for being you.

I never said i was special. Also, why would you change my post? It's free speech, and his price is far too high. I was just trying to help, i wasnt even offering. And of course, i dont even get a PM to "learn" from this experience. How do you even help then? Chances are if I didnt see it I am going to do it again...

If you read the rules you are welcome to PM him about his price but you can't post it publicly. Proper price is a matter of opinion you don't set the market. Posting that you can get it cheaper or a better deal elsewhere is lowballing and derogatory. Comments such as that ruin the sellers chances and it happens to be the reason why most vendors won't post prices anymore because everyone has a better deal. Ironically everyone complains about the vendors not posting the price and when they do they just **** on them.
