Angry Not Happy with this Site at all

Is this an either/or or do you need both because 50 posts is an awful lot just to be able to post in a for sale forum? Not too mention if I had known before hand that I would have to post 50 times then I would not have become a member. The FAQs kept returning an error when I did a search. And I would have appreciated a reply to my help desk post or my email directly to you KK.

"Why Can't I Post in the For Sale Forum(s)?
If you have read the announcement, then you would be fully aware of the prerequisites that are needed. The prerequisites are as follows:

- Be a Registered Member for at least 30 Days.
- Have at least 50 ON-TOPIC posts.

If you meet BOTH above requirements, and still have trouble posting, contact the administrator.

I know you're all anxious about posting in the For Sale Forum. Keep in mind, when you reach the requirements, the system will need time to modify your account!

That's why the rule exists...to keep people like YOU from becoming members just to sell their stuff!!! If all you want to do is sell, throw a garage sale. You could also check out eBay...no minimum posts required.

I definately would NOT want to buy or sell to a member who joined like a few days ago and made 3 posts. It just sounds fishy. Although it may have good intentions, Someone who is a newbie with no feedback is suspicious. Enough people get scammed on this board and this small bit of protection goes a long way.

A simple PM to any moderator would have worked. Did you PM anyone? Keep in mind all the moderators are volunteers and may not get back in the 24/7 form you may be accustomed. What is you issue? Thanks.

I read the guide when i joined and the FAQ search took a dump. Then I tried the Helpdesk and got nothing. Then I PM'd the only moderator I saw listed and got a blocked message so I sent a personal email. Still no reply. I would think that someone who applies to be a moderator has and wants to spend the time to moderate not be just the occasional browser. As far as other repliers what makes you think that someone isnt gonna jack you around regardless if they posted 1 time or 1000 times. And dont you think i already checked EBay, obviously they are helping me if i had to join a forum to get what i need. All i expected from mods was to supply me with the correct procedures ahead of time. Not spend 3 weeks looking for the answer myself and then still not get a reply until i had to post negative comments in an open forum.

what exactly are your intentions for using this site. seems as if u are rude and the problem doesnt lie within the forum but mabee within you. mabee u should go spread yor negativity and whatever els u are trying to spread/sell elswhere. this forum responds well to users that are considerate and somewhat nice.
