Vendor indirect advertising

To the Evom staff:

I have been reading up the us lancer forums quite a bit over the past few weeks and have noticed that something is getting out of control. A member has been selling products over the forums without attaining vendor status. I am in no way calling Phillip a crook or a scam artist, but he needs to realize that things have gone totally awry. Look at the threads below, A2 had very promising beginnings but as you can see in all the threads things quickly took a turn for the worse. Product quality is across the board (ranging from decent work to shoddy work), support for these products began as somewhat acceptable and had quickly turned to ignored PM's and emails. Something has to be done. I am urging the Evom staff to employ some sort of damage control as A2's pricing is so low more and more people are falling victim.

Thank you and we are reviewing the threads. There are two separate issues. A2 is not a registered vendor and member's should review all threads relative and draw their own conclusions. As always problems should be resolved directly with the vendor with the knowledge that Evom has zero leverage with un-registered vendors.

The relationship between A2 and Accolade is not a secret and as long as A2 is not advertising directly here there should not be any registered vendor issues with Evom. It is no different than a registered vendor offering Megan parts along with testimonials and product advantages; Megan is not a registered vendor. The buyer is ultimately responsible for making a decision to buy and I trust enough information exist to make a reasonable decision. Thanks.

As Speedlimit pointed out, A2 is following all site rules and procedures. Yes, it would be nice if he was a vendor, but he is not actively selling parts on EvoM. We cannot stop members from talking about his parts (which is essentially what you want to do).

The bottom line is this - if RRM fanboys are allowed to talk about RRM, A2 fanboys are allowed to talk about A2. The difference is that RRM actively works on EvoM and A2 chooses not too. That doesn't mean they're breaking the rules.

PS - look at your avatar. You don't think that the fact that you're openly shilling for RRM makes you a BIT biased? Or the fact that we all know about your close ties with RRM?
