Merging threads? Why? Absolutely Retarded

Why do you, evom/mods/admins, merge random threads into bigger ones? You do realize that the more merging of threads you do to make the site "easier" to access, actually makes it impossible to find anything...
-The Evolution X thread under Future Lancer Models- It's hundreds of pages and IMPOSSIBLE to find anything in...
-Evo Vs. ___ - The thread is long, impossible to find, new models of cars every year, a pain in the *** to find anything... and specific questions ARE HARDLY ever answered.
EvoM is the only site that merges so many threads into one to make it one hell of a mess. It's not like we are overwhelmed with topics to discuss in Evo General... It just does not make any sense. Please explain your "logic" behind this. The only reasonable answer i can see is that you wish to receive more clicks from users because they are always searching for something everywhere which will earn you more money...
