password security?

I was just browsing the show and shine section when all the sudden this little box would appear asking for my user name and password for this site. Of course I just cancelled out of it but is this some new security thing or is someone trying to steal passwords. The box looked windows based and stated in the lower margin of the text that it was an unsecure site.

I think it's time for a virus scan. If you don't have one, I'd suggest AVG's Free edition.

The only way you'd be asked for a user/pass on EvoM is if your cookies are bonked or you chose not to have your login tracked; either way the request would not come as a popup.

Yeah, it would never happen in a pop up. Sounds like spyware/malware/virus

Actually, I'm getting a login pop-up when I click on the registry link. Not sure if that's the same as what this person is getting.

I'd imagine that to be possible, seeing that the registry is still being updated and such. I got the pop up as well.

The registry is being worked on so I secured that section until it is done. I didn't want anybody seeing or updating anything until all the bugs are worked out.

It was a pop up for the registry login.
