Please up the size of allowed attachment sizes?

I've recently begun the process of using ECUFlash, and it's quite possible that I'll be needing to post ROM files, etc... these files for me are usually 111K in size zipped, so if you could up the allowed size to say... 250K for zipped files? That would be great.

Thanks.

there are plenty of free hosting companies that you could upload it to. I don't really see a need for EvoM to have to pay even more for bandwidth when there are sites that exist for this specific purpose.

Ditto, just use the free sites or pay the 2bucks a month, It drives me nuts when i see people dumping all this money into the car but yet they are using the attachments on the site.

Dumb question - if the files you want to upload are 111K, why exactly are we going to go from 100K to 250K? It's like saying "I need an inch, so give me a foot and a half, please."

As said, there are plenty of options for you. I personally feel like we have enough things slowing this site down. Upping the attachment sizes is just going to hurt the site.

Wow... way to jump on me guys. Thanks. I used 250K as an example.. since I don't run forums, and so I'm not going to know if you can scale it to within 1 KB of that which is needed. As a member of the lancer community who is excited about being able to save like $1300 from not buying a stand-alone, and joining in the information exchange on ECUFlash for all other members to benefit from, I merely stated that to aid those of us who would appreciate a quicker way to share tuning information and ROM's, an increase of a mere 12K file size would seem to do more good than harm.

If that extra 12K in file size is the straw that breaks the metaphorical camel's back and causes EvoM.net to suddenly crash and burn... sorry I even suggested such a preposterous idea!

Don't be so defensive. All I asked was why you suggested adding 150 when you only need 15. Just a question.

As stated previously, there are enough free sources online to upload such information if it doesn't fit here on EvoM. Please use one of those. Enjoy your car and the boards.
