Locking threads in vendor review

You guys need to stop locking threads in the vendor review section, or just get rid of it completely. You guys have a bad habit of over protecting the vendors by deleting and locking threads. The vendors need to live or die on their own without your intervention.

Except in extreme cases where someone is way off base, there is no reason to lock a thread. The sad reality is, most of these vendors bring this on themselves by making false promises, statements, etc. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Quite frankly, you guys go too far out of your way to protect vendors who should be banned from the site for ripping off customers because they pay advertisement fees. You give them too much leeway for their actions instead of banning them. There are tons of vendors on here you never hear anything bad about, and only a select few that get bashed for screwing up... Those that consistantly screw or are caught lying should be banned outright.

Right now you have a locked thread sitting in the review section that is closed and a mod trying to protect a vendor that has outright lied to his customer, stole his design and sold it to other people and put it on his own car... all without ever delivering a finished product to the guy who designed it and has been waiting for months to receive it... with numerous promises for the last 3 months to send it, and with every idiotic excuse imaginable as why it wasn't sent out.

For god sakes, he said his dog ate it once.

Try to remember that the reason all these vendors pay to post is because of the user base you have. You **** off the users and the vendors will find someplace else to advertise.
